Most people see a spreadsheet as a wall of numbers. I see a story waiting to be told.

I'm Zoya , an Accounting & Finance student at Bahria University, Karachi, and someone who genuinely gets excited about clean data, balanced books, and the clarity that comes from a well-built Excel sheet.

My journey started with curiosity. I wanted to understand not just the numbers, but the why behind them , why a business starts making money in one area, why a dataset looks off, why a small bookkeeping error can emerge into a bigger problem. That curiosity pushed me to go beyond the classroom. I completed the KPMG Audit & Assurance job simulation, taught myself to build Excel dashboards, and picked up real, practical skills in bookkeeping, data entry, and financial management , not because I had to, but because I wanted to.

Outside of my studies, I lead marketing for the Character Building Society , a role that taught me something most finance people don't talk about: communication matters as much as accuracy. I learned how to present information clearly, manage multiple responsibilities at once, and deliver results even with limited resources.
